NAMPA, Idaho (AP) — A 12th person has filed a tort claim against the Idaho Department Juvenile Corrections claiming sexual abuse during his time at a facility in Nampa.

The Idaho Press-Tribune reports that the man filed a tort claim Oct. 29 claiming he needs psychiatric care because of the center's staff's actions. The claim is seeking $1.2 million in damages.

The new claim alleges that a former employee of the Nampa facility performed oral sex on the victim in 2010. The department has 90 days to respond to the claim, after which the plaintiff can file a lawsuit. All 11 of the victims have filed tort claims and six of those have progressed to lawsuits.
