19 Year Old Sentenced on Injury to Child Charges
TWIN FALLS, Id. ( KMVT / KSVT ) A 19-year-old who was found in a motel room with two younger teens was sentenced to prison Monday afternoon. Earlier this year, Stanley Leon Crowley pleaded guilty to a charge of felony injury to a child. He was initially charged with lewd conduct with a minor which carried a maximum sentence of life in prison.
Monday he was sentenced to at least 3 years and could spend up to 8 in prison, in addition to 4 years probation. The police report said they found two females, a 15 year old and a 16 year old, partially clothed in Crowley’s motel room. They had been reported missing days earlier.
Authorities responded to the Monterey Motor Inn on Addison Ave West on March 1 after an anonymous tip said two missing girls were staying there. Crowley answered the door wrapped in a sheet and the two girls were found in the closet. He told police he had sex with one of the girls and performed sexual acts on the other.
