19 Year Old Twin Falls Man Charged with Rape of Teen

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX)- A Twin Falls 19 year old is facing a charge of rape of a 17 year old girl. According to court records Jacob Edward Morgan, 19, was arrested and charged with one count of rape Monday after accusations were reported to police earlier in the day. A court affidavit states that the female victim went to a trailer park in Twin Falls to visit Morgan who was heading out of town.

There were a number of people that came and went Sunday evening from that home. The victim told police she had fallen asleep on the bed when she was awakened by someone pulling her pants and underwear down at around 12:30 Monday morning. She told police that’s when Morgan raped her after telling him no.

After the assault the victim said she stayed at the home until a friend picked her up. She was later taken to the hospital. When police questioned Morgan, he told them the sex was consensual and that the two had been interrupted earlier that evening when someone walked into the room.
