It's not unusual for Idaho to end up on a list. But, when a major publication like Outside Magazine makes a list, I pay attention. They've just released their 2016 version of "Best Places To Live" and 2 Idaho cities made the top 16.

We're sick and tired - ahem - what I meant to say is we're pleased to once again congratulate Boise for being recognized for its awesomeness. They end up on so many "best of" lists, if it were only them this would be a yawner.

The other Idaho city that was recognized was Ketchum. That, to me, is a pleasant surprise since Ketchum normally gets overlooked while Sun Valley and sometimes Hailey get the nod.

I've been to many of the towns on this list. Durango, Colorado is a personal favorite and many others that made their rankings are destinations I definitely plan to see some day.
