IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (AP) — Four people have been charged with first-degree kidnapping and mayhem — a felony reserved for cases where a victim is maimed or disfigured — and police in eastern Idaho are still searching for a fifth suspect.

The Bonneville County Sheriff's office said the victim in the case, 32-year-old Brandon Bykonen, was treated at a hospital and later released. Bykonen had sustained significant injuries when deputies found him in Idaho Falls on Aug. 27.

The deputies were responding to a report of a man down, and said they learned Bykonen had been taken against his will and beaten. Alvaro Oseguera, 33; Ivan Sandoval, 19; and Devin Crawford and Sara Oden, both 23, have all been charged in the case.

They have not yet entered a plea. The sheriff's office says investigators are hoping to get tips from the public to help them find 19-year-old Faustino Angelo Anaya, who is also a suspect in the case.
