If there's one thing we have plenty of in Idaho, it's caves. I mean that as a good thing. So, when someone says that one Idaho cave is better than the others, that means something. TripAdvisor has just ranked all of our caverns. See if you agree with what they came up with.

My wife studied geology part of her time in college, so for our family, there really isn't such a thing as a bad cave. Here's the rankings of who's best according to the TripAdvisor reviewers.

Here are some personal thoughts. (NOTE: for the well-educated, this is where you can stop reading. 2nd grade thoughts and humor are likely to happen) First, complete agreement on the first 3. Have never been to Mammoth Cave, so I'll take their word for it. To me, I don't think of "cave" when I think of Black Magic Canyon. I think of "amazing black rocks that I'm too lazy to hike". I also don't think "cave" when I think about Pillar Falls. Call me crazy, but I think of waterfalls when I think of Pillar. As for the gold mine, sounds good. I'll get my shovel and pan and be right over.
