GOODING, Idaho (KLIX) A Gooding Man was killed early this morning in a UTV crash that investigators say involved alcohol.

According to Idaho State Police the crash happened at just before 2 a.m. at the intersection of Oregon Street and Roosevelt Street in Gooding. Police say Kurtis Borda, 32, of Gooding, was killed after being thrown from a Polaris Utility Rec side by side when it rolled. The UTV was going at a high rate of speed when the driver tried to make a turn at the intersection.

Two other people, Steven Lopes, 35, of Shoshone, and Jordan Eden, 22, of Shoshone, were also thrown from the vehicle. The two men were taken to a local hospital. Seat belts were not being used and again alcohol is believed to be involved.
