Their presence sent a loud and clear message about their love and respect for the so-called quiet member of the Fab Four. Other music notables
Kid Rock Focuses on Giving His All During Upcoming Club Tour
Having fun both offstage and with his music still matters to Kid Rock. But as he gets older, Rock gives much more thought to when it’s best to act like his younger self.
Thanks in part to his scaled-back partying, Rock says he’s been more consistent singing and playing on tour — and that should be a plus for fans who will be attending his fall club dates.

Kiss Will Hit the High Seas for a Five-Day Kiss Kruise
The official Kiss fan club is known as the Kiss Army, but when the band’s most loyal supporters set sail with the band, do they become the Kiss Navy?
Perhaps that question will be answered on Oct. 13. That’s when the first-ever Kiss Kruise — featuring two performances by the group, social activities with select members and more — departs from Miami and heads to the Bahamas and back.

Chevelle Announces Release Date for New Album and New Song, ‘Face to the Floor’ [VIDEO]
Back in the day, the release of a concert album used to be a sure sign that a band was not going to be putting out a new studio effort anytime soon.
Chevelle fans can rest easy, however. Even though the Chicago-bred group released the live collection ‘Any Last Words’ in the spring, a new studio disc is on the way, just in time for the year-end holiday season.
Pink Floyd Classic ‘Dark Side of the Moon’ Remains a Steady Seller
The epic run of Pink Floyd‘s ‘Dark Side of the Moon’ on the Billboard 200 albums chart ended long ago, and you won’t find the 1973 classic on the magazine’s current Catalog Albums chart, either.
But don’t feel sorry for the legendary British band: ‘Dark Side’ still sells, at worst, an impressive 10,000 copies per week.
Three Days Grace Reveals New Album Is in the Works
Up to this point in the band’s career, Three Days Grace has released three albums, with a gap of three years from one to the next.
This month marks two years since ‘Life Starts Now’ hit the streets, and frontman Adam Gontier has hinted that the next 3DG album might beat the full three-year mark by several months.
Billy Joel’s ‘Piano Man’ and Full Album Catalog Get Deluxe Treatment
When Billy Joel was a young artist entertaining offers from record labels, he ultimately chose Columbia because it was “a company that knows how to build a career.”
On Nov. 8, Columbia/Legacy Recordings will honor that successful career by releasing a limited-edition Joel boxed set and a two-disc version of his 1973 breakthrough album, ‘Piano Man.’

New, Less Seizure-Inducing Trailer for ‘The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo’ Hits the Internet
“She’s different, in every way” — those are the words used in the second trailer for ‘The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo’ (which is arguably less frenetic than the first) to describe Rooney Mara’s mohawk-sporting titular character.

According to the tweet-happy Draiman, his hard-hitting band will release the 16-track B-sides, rarities and covers album ‘The Lost Children’ on Nov. 8.
But before that, Draiman will reportedly tie the knot with his model/actress fiancée, Lena Yada, on Sunday (Sept. 25).
