Wind Advisory Cancels Races At The Magic Valley Speedway Tonight
The wind strikes again, this time canceling racing action tonight at the Magic Valley Speedway. So far there is no word if the race will be rescheduled.

Weather Advisory Issued For Western Magic Valley
The National Weather Service in Boise has issued a Significant Weather Advisory for the Western MagicValley through 5pm tonight. They’re tracking a severe thunderstorm heading east toward the Magic Valley at 35 miles per hour.
The storm could produce wind gusts up to 50 miles per hour and drop hail the size of pennies at the most severe times.
Dorothy Custer Turns 101 and Zip Lines Through The Canyon
Dorothy Custer turned 101 today. Her method of celebration: becoming the inaugural rider on the Zip the Snake zip line in the Snake River Canyon. True to form, the sassy harmonica playing grandmother made it safely across and remarked “I thought it would be longer.”

Magic Valley Speedway Races Cancelled Tonight
The rain is good for a lot of things, but not for racing at the Magic Valley Speedway. The Speedway announced on their Facebook page that tonight’s races (May 26th) have been cancelled due to the weather.
