The members of Autograph are offering fans a sneak peek at their new Get Off Your Ass LP with the debut of the album's first single and title track, premiering exclusively through Ultimate Classic Rock.

As previously reported, the Get Off Your Ass album is due in stores Oct. 6 on CD and digital formats, with plans for a limited-edition vinyl pressing arriving the following month. Continuing the reunion that brought the band back to active duty in 2013, the record finds original members Steve Lynch and Randy Rand joined by new singer Simon Daniels and drummer Marc Wieland, both of whom were part of the lineup for Autograph’s previous effort, the 2016 EP Louder.

The new album also marks the first fruits of Autograph's current deal with the EMP Label Group, founded by Megadeth bassist David Ellefson. It's an association that, for Ellefson, represents something of a full-circle moment.

"When I first moved to L.A.," says Ellefson in a press release, "Steve Lynch was the guy everybody went there to learn from. As far as guitar players in L.A. went, he was the guy. ... [I] obviously went down an extremely different path, but Steve truly is an iconic guitar hero of the highest caliber, and I am so proud for EMP to be able to partner with him and the re-imagined Autograph to release this killer album."

Autograph will support Get Off Your Ass with a round of tour dates that's already under way. Upcoming shows include an appearance at the SCVR 27th Annual Chilifeed in Ellsworth, Wis., a set at the Great Mohave County Fair in Kingman, Ariz., and a package date with Slaughter and Vixen at the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Conn.
