Remember that sinking feeling of disappointment you got from watching 'Batman & Robin' for the first time? Prepare to feel that when you read about Batman: Arkham Knight's official launch date.

Rocksteady Studios has announced that we won't get to play Batman: Arkham Knight until June 2, 2015. Ironically, this past June we reported that Arkham Knight was reportedly going to launch next February. That is one heck of a second delay, going from late 2014 to early 2015, and now to next June. Given that this will be Rocksteady's final game of the Arkham series and it could be one of the last times we'll ever hear Kevin Conroy as the Dark Knight, we'll let the studio take as much time as it would like to get this swansong ready. Maybe they still can't decide if they want to bring the Joker back or not. Just as long as the Dollmaker, Hush and Professor Pyg are added in as villains in Arkham Knight, we'll be happy.

The Batmobile will roll out from the Batcave on June 2, 2015 when Batman: Arkham Knight launches for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Arkham Knight looks amazing, but is it one of the best Batmans? We'll find out next year.
