What could be hotter than Bayonetta? Being able to play online co-op with her best frenemy. Jeanne, in Bayonetta 2.

Siliconera reports that Bayonetta 2 will have an online co-op mode called "Tag Climax." While this sounds downright naughty, it allows you to play simultaneously with another player online.  It allows you to be paired up with a friend, random player or even an AI-controlled partner. We're unsure whether or not you can progress through the entire game this way, but you can fight bosses, endure against waves of enemies and have the ability to choose the parameters and levels for your co-op experience. You can pick your own character, though we haven't seen any other playable ones besides Bayonetta and Jeanne. You can also select any skills, weapons and equipment you unlocked in story mode for your character to use.

Before the co-op game starts, you can bet Halos, the in-game currency, to make a wager against your partner to see who gets the higher score. Lastly, Verse Cards will be used to warrant access to various levels, difficulties and scenarios (like fighting enemies with two times their usual amount of health).
