BUHL, Idaho ( KMVT-KSVT ) There was a tense situation on the west-end of Buhl on Tuesday as bomb squads were called out to check out something strange.

An unidentified family was clearing their property for a sale when they discovered 47 live bazooka rounds dating back to 1953 under the floorboards of a trailer. The family quickly called the Twin Falls County Sheriff''s Office and the Bomb Squad was dispatched. When the Bomb Squad arrived they immediately called the Mountain Home Air Force Base who sent a bomb squad of its own.

Due to the storm that rolled through the area, both squads had to wait to remove the rounds due to the high chance of static electricity. At a little after 6 p.m., all 47 rounds were safely loaded into a transport vehicle where they were taken to a designated location to be detonated and disposed of.
