While gamers know that a fourth Mass Effect game is coming, developer BioWare hasn’t revealed much information about the eagerly awaited game. BioWare’s presence at this month’s San Diego Comic-Con may change all that, as a panel of Mass Effect developers will discuss the game.

Comic-Con attendees will want to check out room 25abc on July 26 from 2:00 to 3:00 PM to see the panel entitled Charting a Course: Developing the Next Mass Effect. The panel will include developers from BioWare’s Montreal and Edmonton studios, and will be moderated by Nerdist.com. Lead animator Carl Boulay and senior artist Noel Lukasewitch will be joined by producers Fabrice Condominas and Mike Gamble, as well as community manager Jessica Merizan in discussing the experience of building a new chapter in a franchise that is so beloved by the gaming community. The Comic-Con schedule site states that the panelists will, “share their experiences in shaping the next Mass Effect game with new possibilities while staying true to the critically acclaimed series.”

While the developers are sure to answer some important questions about the future of the franchise, the Mass Effect team also has questions of its own for gamers. Via his Twitter, producer Michael Gamble has posted a link to a 12-question Mass Effect survey which asks gamers what elements of the series are most important to them, and what they want to see in the next game.
