It seems like we should have been able to float the Boise River weeks ago. The good news is you will be able to float the river starting tomorrow, June 29th!

This spring, the Boise River had so much water the river was closed to rafters, tubers, paddle boarders, kayaks, etc. Recently, the river has dropped over 4,500 cfs making the river safe for all water enthusiasts.

Boise Parks and Recreation wants to reminded everyone that no alcohol or glass containers are allowed on the Boise River. Children under 14 are required by Idaho law to wear a personal flotation device. Ada County recommends all floaters wear personal flotation devices.
