I know there will be a lot of people who will be excited about this. Boise State University got the OK for a new field.

With an estimated cost that could be close to a million dollars Idaho's Permanent Building Fund Advisory Council approved BSU to replace the iconic field.  According to KTVBArtificial turf fields typically last eight to 10 years. Boise State last replaced its field in 2010. Work will begin after spring football practice and finish in time for fall practices.

They will be changing it a bit with some expansions planned. The years they have replaces the field have been, 1995, 2002, 2008 and 2010.

It really is going to happen fast as they plan on starting after spring practice and have it ready in time for fall.
