HAILEY, Idaho (KLIX) – Three bridges in Blaine County are among the projects that will get a makeover in the coming weeks.

The work includes maintenance and surface improvements on the bridges and a culvert crossing U.S. 20 in the southern part of the county, according to the Idaho Transportation Department.

The work started today.

The bridges are located east of the Timmerman Junction at Grove Creek (mile post 184) and two locations (mile posts 187 and 191) at Silver Creek.

The $305,000 project, contracted to Montana-based L&J Construction Group, is scheduled for completion by the end of August. During the work phase, the road will be reduced to one lane through each construction zone, with temporary signals controlling the flow of traffic.

According to ITD, a 35 mph speed limit will be in effect at each location and a 12-foot width restriction will be enforced. Drivers should expect short delays of up to five minutes.
