HANSEN, Idaho (AP) — Students at a south-central Idaho school district are having a long weekend after a broken pipe caused flooding at the high school.

KTVB-TV reports that since the junior and elementary school in Hansen School District use the high school's cafeteria, classes at all three schools have been canceled for Monday and Tuesday.

District officials say a pipe at Hansen High School burst Saturday night, flooding the main level and basement of the school. Superintendent Kristin Beck says the pipe was repaired Saturday and restoration work is ongoing.
