Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) - A brush fire threatened homes in Twin Falls Sunday afternoon. Call came in Sunday afternoon of a fire off of Falls Avenue, near the Meadow Ridge subdivision.

The residents were contacted and told to prepare to evacuate while crews battled the flames. Twin Falls Fire Department, BLM, and Rock Creek Fire were able to get the fire under control before evacuations were made. No structures were damaged.

City spokesperson Josh Palmer tells Idaho's First News about 10 acres were damaged in total by the fire, most of that being brush. He said they believe the fire is human-caused but it is still under investigation.
