Buddy Benches Are Coming To All Twin Falls Elementary Schools

Earlier this told you about the Buddy Bench. We discussed the idea of Buddy Benches in Twin Falls schools.  

According to our listeners and Eva Craner with the Twin Falls School District there is currently a Buddy Bench at Kimberly Elementary School and one at Harrison Elementary School. These benches have been successful in bridging the gap between old students  and new students on the playground in hopes that every child will have a friend to play with during recess time.

Ms. Craner also reported that as of the 2016/2017 school year all Twin Falls Elementary Schools will have buddy benches. The education foundation received funding through a local grant to get these installed at all elementary schools. The foundation even worked with the student leaders at each school so that students picked out the colors and helped designed the benches.
