BUHL, Idaho (KTVB) -- A man has been taken by air ambulance to a Salt Lake City hospital after his arm right forearm was severed in an industrial accident Thursday night.

Dennis Hill, field supervisor for Magic Valley Paramedics, said the man's arm was completely amputated below the elbow after an accident with an unknown piece of machinery.

Eric Foster, Buhl chief of police, confirmed Buhl police and EMS responded to Rangen, Inc., an agricultural business which specializes in operational aquaculture, general feeds and commodities.

Hill said the man, whose name has not been released, is in stable condition.
