UPDATE 1:40 PM - The suspect in the shooting has been located. Authorities say he was found south of Brigham City, Utah. Twin Falls Sheriff Spokesperson Lori Stewart said that Victor Soria is in custody.

BUHL, Idaho (KLIX)- Magic Valley law enforcement continue the search for a suspect involved in an early morning shooting in Buhl where an officer was injured during the event.

According to Twin Falls County spokesperson Lori Stewart at about 2:40am Tuesday a Buhl Police Officer and Twin Falls County Deputy responded to a domestic dispute at 49 Manor Drive in Buhl. When they arrived someone began shooting from the residence.

The suspect is Victor Soria, 40, of Buhl.  He is 5'4, 130 pounds.  He is believed to be armed.  Please contact SIRCOMM with any information on his whereabouts.  Do not approach the subject.

Buhl Officer Benny Torres received a piercing injury in the buttocks from an unknown fragment, but was not shot. The officer was taken to a local hospital for treatment and has since been released. The suspect fled the scene and area law enforcement agencies are searching for the person.
