TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) – Who ever said jail was just for criminals?

Tony – a tall young male with white hair, according to his mugshot – is still wondering how he wound up in the pen.

Tony, who while in the slammer may also respond to Tony L. and Mr. T, claims his innocence and is looking for some help on the outside, someone who could help set him free.

If you have the means, Tony would like to trade his pen for a pasture.

Before you go through your list of contacts to see what people you know named Tony, we should tell you that the Tony in question is a llama. The Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office locked him up Friday after it found Tony roaming in the Melon Valley, said spokeswoman Lori Stewart. No one has claimed the animal.

Now Tony is looking to make bail.

“We don’t know much about him, but he desperately needs a home,” reads a post on the sheriff's office Facebook page.

If you bail Tony out of jail, he’d sure appreciate it. On just how to do that, contact Stewart at 539-1853.
