Can You Outsmart A Plane Propeller?

Stop me if you've heard this one before. Model gets off airplane.....and walks into a propeller. First question that comes to mind: "Is she blonde?"

Lauren Scruggs, 23, had just stepped off the plane at a private airport in McKinney, Texas, on Saturday night when she apparently walked in front of the propeller.

Apparently her injuries are quite severe. But I just don't understand how someone could walk into a plane propeller. It does look kind of like a large fan, maybe she was feeling a little too warm after the long flight?

Speaking to “Good Morning America” Tuesday, Scruggs’ parents said they weren’t sure exactly what happened when she walked into the propeller, but that they believed she was going to thank the pilot when the accident occurred.

Are pilots hiding in propellers these day? I don't think I'll be thanking my pilot next time I fly.
