Castleford, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) - Lyle Bayley has been named to take over as the Superintendent of the Castleford School District for the upcoming 2015-16 school year.

He will replace Andy Wiseman. Bayley is currently the principal at Hacker Middle School in Mountain Home and has had experience in several administrative positions according to information released by Todd Wells, the district’s school board chairman. Bayley has been a science teacher and in extracurricular activities as a coach and athletic director.  This will be his first experience in a superintendent position.

He came highly recommended from several sources, Wells said. The board chairman said over 150 hours of time were spent by school staff, community members, parents and the trustees, performing applicant sifting, interviews and deliberation.
