The challenge of being blind is something that most of us will fortunately never face. But, there are many in the Magic Valley that do. The good news if you face that daily challenge is you are not alone.

The goal of the group is to elevate expectations of what life is like when you're blind

The National Federation of the Blind in Idaho meets the first Friday of each month in Twin Falls at Idaho Pizza Company. According to Chris Jones, the President of the Central Idaho Chapter, the meetings start at 6 pm and normally last around an hour. The next meeting is Friday, November 4.

The goal of the group is to elevate expectations of what life is like when you're blind. They strive to help remove obstacles for those in this condition so they understand they can live the life they want.
