Charity Event Changes due to Fire

(KLIX)-The Cave Creek Fire has caused several closures in addition to the mandatory evacuation. the Ride Em, Race Em, Run Em event has changed. Organizers released the following: “Due to the road closure of Rock Cr road resulting from fire danger, the Rising Stars Therapeutic Riding Center has been forced to alter the plans for the August 11^th Ride Em -  Race Em -  Run Em.  We will still be holding a modified version of the event including a 5k run/walk with registration at 4 PM and start at 4:30.  There will be a social hour and entertainment at 5 PM and dinner a 6.  Dinner tickets can be purchased for $20 ($10 for children under 12) and  5K participants will receive race registration, t-shirt and dinner for $40.  We have many cool silent auction items available for purchase as well.  The event will take place at Rock Cr.
