The boys from the Fire Emblem series join Abraham Lincoln's ranks in Code Name S.T.E.A.M.

Abraham Lincoln, or at least his video game likeness, will be the star of Intelligent System's new turn-based strategy-shooter, Code Name S.T.E.A.M. The game will be taking place in London and has a very steampunk vibe about it. Now, Nintendo is announcing that S.T.E.A.M. will be compatible with some of its amiibo figures. Players will be able to battle as Marth, Ike or Robin against their evil foes. Each of these characters hail from the Fire Emblem series (which is also from Intelligent Systems) and are here to help Henry Fleming in his endeavors to lead Abe's army and defeat the aliens trying to invade earth.

You can equip the amiibo figures for Marth, Ike or Robin in the beginning of the game and then use the toys again to revive them, should they fall in battle. Players can take advantage of the three characters' awesome skills to defeat the evil alien enemies.

Code Name S.T.E.A.M. will be out on Mar. 13 for the Nintendo 3DS and New 3DS XL, so you'd better brush up on your sword skills in the meantime.
