CALDWELL, Idaho (AP) — The College of Idaho has broken ground on its new three-story library.

The Idaho Press-Tribune reports that on Thursday officials gathered to kick off construction of the Cruzen-Murray library. The college first announced plans for the library in 2011.

The new library is expected to be completed in 2017. The library was gifted to the college through the late Deborah Cruzen Murray and Glenn Richard Murray Jr. estate. C of I administrators will determine what to do with the current library at a later date.
