TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX)- A Canadian BASE jumper has died from his injuries after jumping from the a Magic Valley bridge. According to the Twin Falls Sheriff's Office, 32 year old Bryan Turner was killed after leaping off the Perrine Bridge. Turner is from Vancouver B.C. but living in New York. Lori Stewart, spokesperson for the Twin Falls County Sheriff, says Turner's parachute did not open.

Emergency crews responded to a report of an injured BASE jumper at the Perrine Bridge just after the noon hour.

Turner hit the water and was pulled out by fellow BASE jumpers and kayakers below the bridge. The injured jumper was given CPR until medical staff was able to reach him. He was airlifted by helicopter out of the canyon and taken to a local hospital.
