TWIN FALLS, Idaho – Dental assisting students at the College of Southern Idaho recently won awards in the Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) state competition in Boise.

All first-, second- and third-place winners are now eligible to attend and compete in the International HOSA Convention in Nashville, Tenn., in June. Those awarded, according to a news release by the college, include the following students:

Dental Science
1st place, Ashlyn Honas of Blackfoot
2nd place, Gloria Rivera of Buhl
3rd place, Jordyn Giltner of Jerome
4th place, Marjan Sobbi of Twin Falls

Dental Terminology
1st place, Autumn Myers of Twin Falls
2nd place, Jordyn Giltner of Jerome
3rd place, Tessa Swindell of Challis
4th place, Hailey Darrington of Declo
5th place, Deise Flores of Jackpot, Nev.
