TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) – If you're prone to getting cavities, here’s something you might want to consider.

On Friday, July 14, visit the Dental Clinic lab inside the Health and Science building on the College of Southern Idaho campus to receive a free dental sealant. Students in the dental assisting program will host a clinic that day. for those ages 5 to 18, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Dental sealant is a varnish-like substance that is painted onto the teeth that helps prevent cavities.Application is quick, painless and effective.

The students will be joined by registered dental hygienists in applying the sealants, according to CSI. All procedures will be done under the observation of a supervising dentist who assists with the program.

The clinic is open to children from ages 5 to 18 and is first-come, first-serve – no appointments are necessary. For questions or more info, call 732-6708.
