Dierkes Lake Trails Showcased In Tourist’s Video

A recent video posted to YouTube shows that there's more than meets the eye when it comes to a convenient, and popular, Magic Valley hangout spot.

Dierkes Lake is often ruled out by many when it comes to seeking a secluded, quiet spot to spend an afternoon. The lake has its regulars for sure, but not very many venture out to enjoy the trails that surround the nearly 200 acre spot.

In this video--shared to YouTube back in May--a tourist who goes by the name CreativelyChic, put together a well-edited video (just shy of three minutes) showing some the beauty that surrounds Dierkes. The footage also features Shoshone Falls, and parts of the Snake River.

Dierkes is located three miles east on Falls Avenue, and includes picnic tables, sand volleyball, restrooms, grills and a playground.
