Bear Lake on the Utah and Idaho border is not an uncommon destination for many of us in the summer. So, surely you are aware of the legend of the Bear Lake Monster. If so, do you think it's real?

If you're wondering what in the heck I'm talking about, let's get you up to speed. The Bear Lake Monster was first reported back in 1868. The most recent report that I have found dates back to 2004 when it was reported by the Casper Star Tribune.

Based on eyewitness accounts, it's some type of alligator/sea monster hybrid - if it's real at all.
