POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) — The nearly 100-year-old Assumption Greek Orthodox Church in eastern Idaho has received a new dome.

The Idaho State Journal reports that a crane on Thursday lifted the new structure onto the church that was built in 1915 in Pocatello. Plans call for replacing the 12 temporary windows in the dome that represent the 12 apostles with the original stained glass from the old dome.

Deacon Seraphin Johns says the congregation has about 75 core families and another 200 worshippers from around the area. The church is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
