Emergency Crews Respond to Injury Crash near Kimberly
UPDATE: Idaho State Police say Donna Baird, 88, of Twin Falls was headed south on N 3800 E in Twin Falls County. Police say Baird stopped at the stop sign at the intersection of Highway 50 and continued on. Her Volkswagen Jetta was hit by a semi-truck being driven by Eric Santana, 24, of Jerome. Baird was taken to the hospital in Twin Falls. Both drivers had their seat belts on.
KIMBERLY, Idaho (KLIX) – Emergency crews are currently at the scene of an accident on Highway 50 near Kimberly.
According to a dispatcher from Idaho State Police, a passenger vehicle and semi-truck crashed on the highway near milepost 3, near 3800 East and E. 3900 North. The dispatcher said one person is being transported to the hospital with injuries. The westbound lane is blocked as crews manage the scene.
