NAMPA, Idaho (KTVB) -- A nine-foot boa constrictor that escaped its cage, has returned home, according to the snake's owner.

The snake, named Trinity, escaped its Plexiglas cage sometime Friday night or early Saturday morning. Police sent out a warning to residents in the neighborhood off Roosevelt Avenue to avoid trying to capture the snake, and if they spotted it, to call them immediately.

The owner tells KTVB Trinity slithered back into the garage Sunday afternoon. The news should come as a big relief to neighbors in the area, especially since the snake is due for a feeding. In a press release, Nampa Police said Trinity is "no longer a 'snake of interest' by this department."
