Blue Angels Jet Team in the Magic Valley

Twin Falls will be hosting the Blue Angels jet team the summer of 2012 at the Magic Valley Regional Airport. The date for the “Air Magic Valley” air show will be Saturday, July 28th and Sunday, July 29th, 2012.

“A Blue Angels flight demonstration exhibits choreographed refinements of skills possessed by all naval aviators. The Blue Angels’ C-130, affectionately known as Fat Albert, begins each demonstration by exhibiting its maximum performance capabilities during a ten-minute per- formance. Shortly thereafter, you will see the graceful aerobatic maneuvers of the four-jet Dia- mond Formation, in concert with the fast-paced, high-performance maneuvers of its two Solo pilots. Finally, the team illustrates the pinnacle of precision flying, performing maneuvers locked as a unit in the renowned, six-jet Delta Formation.”

When the Blue Angels last performed at Magic Valley Regional Airport in 2008, more than 25,000 people attended the two-day show.
