In 2011, the Community Progressive was born. Designed as a festival to showcase local nonprofits, local producers, growers, artists and businesses and how interrelated all this work is in creating thriving, sustainable communities throughout Idaho. The event offers folks from the community an opportunity to learn about the important work Idaho nonprofits do to protect our rivers, lands, and communities though information booths, and workshops offered throughout the day. Often the cost of participating in these kinds of event precludes organizations and businesses, but for this event the cost of the park rental is divided evenly by participants, which allows them to be a part of something like this without trying to absorb the heavy burden of fees often associated.

Please join us from 10am-8pm at Julia Davis Park for The Second Annual Community Progressive and share in a day designed to illustrate what makes Idaho great!
