FULL MOON GALLERY AUTHOR/ILLUSTRATOR NAMED TO BEST BOOK LIST

Twin Falls, Idaho - The Magic Valley Arts Council’s Full Moon Gallery artist Bev Stone, an accomplished watercolor artist, has won two places in an annual authors contest.  Aviva Gittle Publishing’s The Gittle List have selected Stone’s book “They Told Me Something Wonderful Was Coming” for first place in the categories of Best Children’s Book by an Indie Author and first place in Best Indie Children’s Picture Books.
"They Told Us Something Wonderful Was Coming” makes me feel happy every time I read it. You will think you know what’s coming. It will be a surprise; I promise! Bev Stone’s prose is sweet and I found myself wanting to turn the page to get closer to the answer, but hesitating so I could take in her bright and beautiful illustrations. Ms. Stone also understands page and overall book design. You are drawn in from the first page to the last. Its message is that of affirmation; the joy of life. This book is appropriate for any age; it is just uplifting." - from the Gittle website. http://gotogittle.com/category/gittle-list/
Stone has written and published two others books which are for sale at the Full Moon Gallery, Twin Falls center for the Arts, 195 River Vista Place.
