Flooding Closes Road South of Twin Falls

Following Information was issued by Twin Falls County Sheriffs Office:

Foothills Road is closed from Blue Lakes to 3500 East due to flooding at McMillan Creek.

The canal company has opened multiple head gates, and local farmers are opening their lines to release pressure from the main waterways.  It will be several hours before we know if the diverted water has any impact on the flooding in RockCreek.

The highway district is out now with graders removing debris from the road.
