BOISE, Idaho (AP) — The former president of the Idaho Aquarium in Boise has been arrested in Texas on charges of violating conditions of his probation, including an agreement not to buy, sell or possess fish or wildlife.

KTVB-TV reports (http://bit.ly/1LATdEi) Ammon Covino was arrested Wednesday in Austin on a federal warrant. Court documents allege he violated the conditions of his release from prison, but details of the violations weren't immediately available. Covino, who co-owned the aquarium with his brother, was convicted in 2013 of conspiring to illegally import sea life from Florida for the Boise aquarium.

He was sentenced to one year in prison and two years of supervised release. A judge on Monday declined to set a bond or release Covino. He will be transferred to Florida to face charges.
