Jerome, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) - The Stinker Gas Station at 800 East Main in Jerome was the scene of a Robbery late Monday night.

Jerome Police Chief Dan Hall said they were called to the scene at 11:45 p.m. Witnesses say that there were two suspects, a male and a female, both wearing masks and gloves. A weapon was displayed. The male was described as being around 6-foot to 6-foot 2-inches tall. The pair took cash from the store and tied up the clerk. The suspects then took the clerk’s vehicle a short distance.

Chief hall said that it was located in the 100 block of North Fillmore moments after the robbery. Evidence at the scene indicates the pair fled on foot to another location around Davis and East First Street. Authorities believe the pair then drove off in another vehicle.

Authorities are not saying if the Subway robbery in Twin Falls and The Stinker Station Robbery in Jerome are related. They are continuing to investigate and as details are released Idaho’s First News will be updating the information.
