Gooding, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) - Grievances filed in the Gooding school district are being looked at by a private investigator.

After the student handbook was said to have been copied from a handbook in Texas, parents and teachers alike expressed their disapproval. Superintendent Mary Larson tells us in a statement, "since the board adopted the handbook, we (the board and I together) believe we may have jumped the gun.” She tells us the handbook is currently being revised and says, "the concept of an employee handbook came from me as a new Superintendent.”

Board Chair Michael Perry says he expects the investigator to present his findings on the grievances to the board in less than a month.
