If you're feeling adventurous, I have an idea for something you might consider over the 4th of July weekend. There's a hike in Idaho that will take you way off the beaten path, but it is oh so worth it.

First, you have to take a drive to the north toward Sun Valley. To the west of that area is a hike to the Norton Lakes. The reward includes multiple stellar camping locations next to water and some views to die for. Be warned: this is a difficult trail and not exactly something for a non-experienced hiker.

This is the specific area I'm talking about.

Zoomed out, this is how you get there from Twin.

If you don't want to have to deal with civilization over the 4th, consider this hike. Your eyes will thank you later for the beauty that you will behold.
