High Wind Warning Signs Going Up on Perrine and Hansen Bridges

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) The Idaho Department of Transportation is working to install signs warning motorists of high winds.

Last year four trucks blew onto their sides, forcing the closure of both the Perrine and Hansen bridges.

The signs will read “high winds: reduce speed when flashing” and be bordered by yellow LED lights.

Depending on weather, ITD should have the signs at the entrance of both bridges installed and activated this week.
