I-55 Experiencing Delays Through July

CASCADE (KTVB) -- If you're planning on taking Highway 55 between Banks and Donnelly through the end of the month, you may want to plan some extra time.

Drivers are waiting around 20 minutes in 2 different sections which are down to one lane from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursdays and noon on Fridays.

There will be flaggers directing alternating traffic in each direction.

This road work is an Idaho Transportation Department project to replace the North Fork Payette River Bridge.

The ITD is chip sealing the road on weekdays through July 30th.
