KUNA, Idaho (AP) — The Ada County sheriff's office says a 12-year-old boy whose mother let him drive an SUV Monday night in a school parking lot in the community of Kuna, Idaho, lost control of the vehicle, hitting a pickup truck and a house.

The Idaho Statesman reports no one was hurt, but the house sustained significant damage.

The boy reportedly started driving in the school parking lot, then drove through a backyard, knocked over a fence, hit a Ford Ranger pickup truck and finally drove the SUV into the front of a home.

The sheriff's office is investigating.

Kuna is southwest of Boise.
