Idaho Demands That You Must Love Plastic Bags

Idaho would really appreciate if you would learn to love plastic bags. I realize that love is a strong word. Maybe the state would be willing for you to date plastic bags for awhile before making that lifelong commitment, but I still think love is their goal.

The Idaho Statesman can explain this better than me.

A bill that would prevent local governments from banning plastic bags, bottles and Styrofoam passed the Idaho House Wednesday.

So, I guess I was wrong about Idaho wanting us to love plastic bags. It's more along the lines of them not wanting us to permanently break up with them.

What do you think? Should we be able to ban plastic bags if we want to or not?
