What do you do in prison other than curl up in the corner and hope nobody thinks you're pretty? According to the Idaho Statesman, you make dog sweaters. Yes, dog sweaters in the Idaho Penitentiary are a thing.

Specifically, some inmates are making sweaters for shelter dogs. People Magazine Pets even covered this kind activity of the incarcerated. The idea behind the program is to help the dogs that haven't been adopted to be more adoptable. Plus, it's a positive activity for the prisoners to do something that helps animals.

Kudos to whoever came up with this idea to give the inmates something positive to do and I'm sure the shelter dogs are happy about it, too.
